Reach a person
Email pyxelapps@gmail.com. One person reads it and answers, usually within a day or two. Tell us what you were looking at and what you expected, and include the version number from Settings if you can.
Try it before connecting anything
On the first screen, tap Explore with sample data. Every screen works on invented figures for a made-up shop, so you can see what the app does without giving it access to anything. Everything Pro does is unlocked there and marked Pro. Settings has a row to connect Google Analytics when you are ready.
It says this account has no Analytics properties
You are signed in, but that Google account cannot see any Google Analytics property. Websites are often set up under a different account from the one people sign in with. Sign out in Settings and try the account your Analytics is actually on.
The numbers look different from Google's
Better reads the Google Analytics Data API, which is the same source Google's own reports use. Small differences usually come down to time zone, to Google still processing the most recent hours, or to sampling on very large properties. Where a figure was sampled, Better says so at the bottom of the screen rather than hiding it.
No notifications are arriving
Everything Better tells you is worked out on your iPhone while iOS wakes the app in the background, so three things have to be on: notification permission, Background App Refresh in iOS Settings, and the Notifications switch in Better itself. Better's Notifications screen says which of them is off, when the next briefing is due, and when iOS last woke the app and what it found. The morning briefing is set up ahead of time, so it arrives at the hour even on a day iOS never woke Better. To check delivery immediately, use Send a preview at the bottom of that screen.
Free and Pro
Everything Google Analytics already measures is free, for ever, on the website you choose first: the numbers, the breakdowns, live visitors, search and the widgets. Better Pro adds the part Better works out for you, the highlights and the notifications, and every other website you have, including a different website on each widget and websites under more than one Google account. It is $29.99 a year, and it is managed in your Apple Account like any other subscription.
Cancelling
Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Better. Cancelling there stops the renewal and keeps Pro until the period you paid for ends.
Removing Better's access
Signing out in Better's Settings removes the cached figures from your iPhone. To revoke Better's read-only access to your Google Analytics entirely, go to your Google account permissions and remove Better. That grant belongs to Google, not to us, which is why it is removed there.
Privacy
Your analytics go from Google to your phone and stop there. No server of ours ever sees them. The privacy policy says exactly what is asked for and where it goes, and the terms cover the rest.
Accessibility
How Better works with VoiceOver, larger text and Reduce Motion is on the accessibility page.
