In plain words
Better shows you your own Google Analytics data on your iPhone. It reads, it never writes. The numbers are Google's, so they are only as right as Google's are, and you should not make an irreversible decision on a number you have not checked at the source.
Better is free while it is in testing. If that changes, you will be told before you are charged anything.
Who these terms are with
Better is made by 60fps, operated as a sole proprietorship from Bengaluru, India ("we", "us"). Installing or using Better means you accept these terms. If you do not, do not use the app.
What you need
An iPhone running a supported version of iOS, and a Google account with access to at least one Google Analytics 4 property. Better does not create Analytics accounts or properties, and it is not a substitute for having one.
Your Google account
You give Better read-only access to your Google Analytics data through Google's own sign-in. You keep that access under your control and can revoke it at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. You are responsible for having the right to view the properties you connect. Your use of Google Analytics itself remains governed by your agreement with Google.
What the numbers are, and are not
Everything Better shows comes from Google's Analytics APIs. Google samples, thresholds and groups data in ways we do not control, and Better tells you when a response says it has done so. Better's own insights are statistical: they describe what moved and by how much, against what that day usually looks like. They never claim to know why, and they are not advice.
Better is provided for information. Do not rely on it as the sole basis for a business, financial or legal decision. Check the source before you act on anything that matters.
Fair use
Please do not:
- use Better to access analytics data you are not entitled to see;
- reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the app, except where the law expressly allows it;
- use it to build a competing product from our code, or resell access to it;
- use it in a way that breaks Google's terms, Apple's terms, or the law.
Better spends your Google Analytics API quota, which is shared with everything else you use against that property. We batch and cache to keep that small, but the quota is yours and how it is used is ultimately your responsibility.
Price
Better is free during testing. If a paid plan is introduced later, the price and what it covers will be shown in the app before any purchase, and any purchase will be handled by Apple under Apple's own terms, including its refund process. Nothing will ever be charged without you choosing it first.
Availability
Better depends on Google's APIs and on Apple's platform. Either can change, break or go away, and features may change with them. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and we may change or discontinue the app.
No warranty
Better is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of Better. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us for Better in the twelve months before the claim, which for a free app is nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Your content
Your analytics data stays yours. We claim no rights over it, and as the privacy policy explains, we never receive it. The app itself, its name, its icon and its design remain ours.
Ending it
You can stop using Better at any time by signing out, deleting the app, and revoking its access to your Google account. We may end your access if you use the app in a way that breaks these terms.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with it. Continuing to use Better after a change means you accept it. If a change is material, we will say so in the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the law of your own country gives you rights that cannot be set aside by agreement.
