What Better tells you

Examples from the sample shop in the app

Better reads your Google Analytics on your iPhone and writes down what changed and why, as one plain sentence with the numbers under it. These are the sentences it writes, word for word, filled in with the invented figures of the sample shop the app comes with. On your own website the numbers are yours, and a highlight only appears when something actually happened.

Why it moved

The question every analytics app leaves to you. Better answers it first, and goes a level deeper than a channel.

Where these come from

An engine in the app compares each day with the same weekday over recent weeks, and today hour by hour, and only speaks when a change is too large to be noise and too large to ignore. It never guesses at a cause it cannot see in the data, and it never calls a visitor a bot: low engagement is reported as low engagement. If Apple Intelligence is switched on, it may reword a sentence, and every number it writes is checked against the engine's before it is shown.
